The problem
The client needed to create a data transformation solution that took various CSV input files related to insurance claims and benefits from different sources and converted them into JSON output files that adhered to specifications outlined in recently passed pricing-transparency regulation by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
The solution
Within 45 days, SDG’s data team successfully developed and delivered a Python script and data ETL workflow that met all requirements set by the client and its partner. The client was able to keep its obligations to its partner while helping ensure that the partner’s practices complied with the recent CMS regulatory policy.
